We are a family owned company, established in 1999 by Mr. Gregor Fras and Mr. Blaž Fras. Our specialization is high pressure die casting, surface treatment and machining of a
Customer specific products made out of aluminum alloy.
We are working with different aluminum alloys, while being specialized in alloy EN AB 46100, EN AB 47100 and EN AB 44300.
With technology of high pressure die casting, surface treatment and machining of aluminum
alloys we are producing products, such as:

1999: start of production as a sole entrepreneur, "Kofra Fras Gregor s.p."
1999: Introduction of Al die casting technology, with one 160 t machine and 4 employees
2002: start of business cooperation with a strategic partner, ebm-papst Landshut GmbH
2004: purchase of a 500 m2 production hall and relocation of production to Kamnik
2004: increase of production capacities with 630 t DC machine and pairing trimming machine
2006: restructuring of the company from "Kofra Fras Gregor s.p." to "KOFRA-livarna d.o.o."
2007: increase of production capacities with 250 t DC machine
2008: Introduction of the first robotic system of work on a DC machine
2010: purchase of an additional 900 m2 production hall, with additional land
2010: introduction of the ISO 9001: 2008 quality standard
